WWE Studios and Karé Productions have announced a partnership centered around Karé’s new French film, “Les Reines Du Ring” (“Queens of the Ring”), and myself, alongside CM Punk and The Miz will be making an appearance! I’m so excited and honored to be a part of this production! For more information on the movie, click here.
By far, one of my favorite memories of my time with WWE has to be visiting the troops overseas. Going over to Iraq and Afghanistan had such a profound impact on me, and my appreciation for our nation’s military.
I was touched by how grateful they were that we’d come over to visit them, and I was incredibly impressed with how hard the young men and women defending our country work day in and day out. It was a pleasure to perform in front of thousands of soldiers in uniform, and to visit with them and hear their stories.
What you see on TV is probably 1% of what we actually do as a “Diva”. Some of my favorite moments of my career happened on live events. The crowd is at our fingertips, and we have the time to tell the stories we want to tell! One of my favorite live event matches was at Madison Square Garden, when I faced Beth for the Diva’s Championship, and Nikki Bella was our guest referee.
As I look back over my WWE journey, there’s another moment that was extremely poignant for me- the February 13th, Valentines Day episode of Raw!
Week after week went by of vicious attacks on Zack Ryder by Kane, and I was by his side for every one. Zack was ultimately Kane’s bate for John Cena- as one of Zack’s broski’s, he would come to his rescue every week on Raw. While Zack’s feelings got stronger for me (how could you blame him), I was also put at risk when Kane started to come after me! On the Valentines Day episode of Raw, Kane trapped me in an ambulance and was going to drive away, when John Cena unlocked the door and …. well… maybe you should relive this episode yourself….
Over the next few weeks I’m going to be looking back at some of my favorite #WWEve moments! I’ve been able to create so many amazing memories and have had so many life changing experiences, and I’d like to share some of these with you.
One of my favorite #WWEve moments was the Vengeance PPV when I faced Beth Phoenix for the Diva’s Championship. This was my first PPV match against Beth, and one of my favorite matches to date!
